Anyhoo, i got backspin 4.0, and don't if dialed in quite right yet. Anybody have any settings for high scores?(200+) I looked back thru previous posts, but saw nothing on the newest version of Backspin.

When I started it there was an opt for strikes or spares you want to choose strikes for high scores.

Most people just use the presets. What works for one person may not work for others.

I've been using the Hook Shot preset, and just won my first tourny(and 500bux), but i did it with scores of 192,201,170. I would like to fine tune it just a tad though.

Personally, I have better results with Amanda's shot. Usually in the high 200's. :)

If you're talking to Renegade I don't know...as for myself, I don't win tournies all the time. In fact, it's been months since I won an overall tour mainly because the auto isn't that consistent. At best I win 2 out of 3 games that make up a complete tournament.

And even then, the scores aren't outstanding.  !@#$

To be honest, there are some darn good bowlers in my league and their outstanding scores kind of take the heat off me anyway so it's all good.  :/\

Even though they added the shot that one of the members here figured out, I find it does better by putting in myself on the custom shot.

I average around 260 a game.  Also some rooms do better than others. The auto kicks butt.

Yes it is a great auto - 99 times out of 100 I get the jackpot spin which is all I really care about.

AB Lady, I had someone call me a " Bot" in Pogo Bowl one night. I happened to turn chat on and saw what was going on. So I put on my little miss pitiful routine, and kicked the auto to another setting off the one that gets me the 280 range and perfect scores. LOL.

Yeah, lately the bowlers are getting as bad as the Bingo nuts.

PS- I'm getting a new puppy!! Little Maltese baby. He's so cute and teeny tiny.

Me? No, my scores have indicated i've improved, but not drasticly(sic) enough to be questioned. winning that tourny i think was just a little luck on my part, due to some of the better bowlers not being in the tour. I do spend time in other rooms "practicing", and have noticed a difference in rooms/scores..weird :ooo

I was just posting about the 'share bingo' setting on Fortune Teller for Fortune Bingo.  I reallllllly like that!  Now I won't worry so much about being in a room where they are sharing, and having uncle auto rushing to claim the 1 out of 27 bingos I might actually get.   :)))

And YAY for new puppies!!!  I read that Bichons are cousins of the Maltese and I know that when I lived down the hill, my next door neighbor had a Maltese'  Very similar features, just straighter hair.  Awwww, I'm so happy for you !!  I know they can't replace the little angels you lost, but you will bring each other so much joy!  I'd love to see a pic sometime!!

Last night we went to Target and got some Christmas decorations 1/2 off.  One of the things I brought home was a little Santa Garden Gnome.  We brought it in and sat it by the entry way.  A little while later, Romeo comes trotting in the house and when he saw the gnome, he yiped, seriously did an about face in mid air and hid under the table.  Of course, it wasn't long before he was stalking it and growling at it.  He reminded me of Snoopy in the Charlie Brown Cartoons.  He'd crouch down, slowly approach from behind....  LOLOL   then he'd growl, then run away from it.  Oh my gosh, we were laughing soooo hard.  Who knew a Garden Gnome could be so much fun!   :)) :))

On another subject, kinda, my oldest daughter wants a Chinese Crested SOOOOO bad!  Those are the goofiest looking dogs.  LOL  AND she lives in the desert where the dogs MUST be kept in TShirts.  The Chinese Crested (Hairless) Rescue is overrun with rescued dogs who were suffering from severe sun burns.  I'd love to get one for her but she ahs 3 boys, 4, 2 and 2 months, and those dogs are sooo teeny!!!

We still have our 4 oldest Bichons, and love them with all our hearts. Due to the increase in genetic problems with the breed in general, I doubt we will ever have another one when these 4 go to the Bridge. OFA and CERT genetic testing is a must now. Maltese are not subject to the same genetic health problems as Bichons, but they could be if they are overbred. 
I wanted a Maltese for several reasons.. For one thing,  I know that I can deal with a Maltese coat a bit better. Our dog grooming bills are several hundred dollars a month when we had the 6 adult Bichons. The Maltese costs quite a bit more than any other dog I have ever thought about owning, twice as much as one of our champion- sired Bichons, but he is gorgeous and comes from healthy champion stock. Right now, if we had another dog with health problems, I just dont think we could bear it. Losing 3 dogs in one month has been incredibly depressing. 

Also, I think I mentioned somewhere that we were trying to save a teeny baby Bichon that the breeder of our two youngest dogs ( the ones who drowned right before Christmas)  asked us if we might try to help. Little Bliss was less than a pound at 8 weeks, and he was a very good eater, plus I gave him Nutri-Cal for puppies and whole milk with Half and Half to try to put weight on him. I realized that I would love to have a slightly smaller puppy because it was such a joy to love tiny Bliss. I still miss him so.

BTW, sorry for the hijack but if there's a pet thread like there used to be, I can't find it.

I think I got up on wrong side of bed, but do ya think a "just plain stupid" section is needed here?....or a "I whine alot" or a "learn to read" section!!!!

I have put in wrong passwords, put the right password in wrong place, tried to play the wrong game with the wrong agent....a lot of really dumb things.  BH has NEVER not helped me out of any tight place I got into.  BH and this forum are great!!!  And why in the world would ya just drop in with a "it's not fair", "got to buy it twice" crapola, without first asking politely for help?

Now, I will get of my soapbox.  Y'all have a wonderful day, and thank you so much for  all the help in the past!....oh and for all the help I will need in the future....lol
