Here is some football and racing in one-

Jr went to the GB last weekend and this is part of his conversation on BDSS on Fox-
"Chris Rose: Before we even talk racing, we know you are a huge football fan, in particular, the Washington Redskins. They were up facing Green Bay last weekend, and we saw Dale Earnhardt Jr. out there on Lambeau Field. What the heck does that feel like?

Dale Earnhardt Jr.: It was pretty awesome. I had a chance to go with Matt Kenseth to the game. We raced Saturday night so we had a Sunday off. He took me to the game with him. He's a big Green Bay fan. We got to meet Brett Favre, got to meet the coach for the Packers and got to hang out on the field before the game. I didn't know they have little huts for the players to use the bathroom in. I didn't know about that. On the sideline. Did y'all know that?

Chris Rose: You went to Lambeau Field and that's what you learned?

Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Yeah. That was the biggest surprise to me. That and I thought the brat was going to put me down at about the third quarter, but I was still up. Pretty proud of myself. it was a lot of fun. We had a lot of fun. It was raining and everything. We were getting soaking wet. The 'Skins led for a while. The second half was pretty terrible, then I was ready to go with about two minutes left. "

PARCELLS TO DOLPHINS? by Michael David Smith

Citing sources close to the four-time former NFL coach, Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Bill Parcells could be the Miami Dolphins' general manager in 2008.

"It makes a lot of sense that the Dolphins would be a job he'd be very interested in if it came open," a source close to Parcells told Cole. "But only as the GM. I don't think he'll ever coach again."

Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga has told the Miami Herald that he plans "internal self-studies" to figure out what's wrong with his 0-7 team and whether solving the team's problems would include replacing General Manager Randy Mueller and/or coach Cam Cameron.

Parcells, who has coached the Giants, Patriots, Jets and Cowboys, has a friendly relationship with Huizenga. The two played golf together at Huizenga's private course in the spring. Parcells might be interested in a job with the Dolphins because he spends a lot of time in the off-season in Florida, although he has twice turned down job offers from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Would an offer from the Dolphins get Parcells to leave ESPN and get back into the NFL? Who knows? Parcells' career moves have been impossible to predict, and there will be rumors linking him to NFL jobs until the day he dies.
