If you are using the auto for Word Riot - turn off the option to be clue giver. I was playing last night and someone in the room was using the auto - and there were alot of really pissed off players and they did get reported - not that pogo seems to do anything about it.

Someone got revenge though by immediately typing 'POOP' which of course the auto copied lol then the person playing changed their answer.

But also be aware that even if you have clue giver turned off, you can still get picked. I had mine turned off and was still picked several times but not nearly as many as those with it unchecked.

I love this game and play by hand.  There are certain players who always wait til about 1 second left and then put up the word.  Also, those same players are the ones who give the suckiest clues.  Why is that?  Are they auto users?

It seems this game is going to be real easy to detect auto use.  Perhaps the next version will be better

I have noticed this as well but I just thought maybe their computers are slow. I did the game by hand too so I don't know how fast the auto fills the answers in. I saw all the crazy words some people were guessing and was too afraid the auto would pick them up just like Buster mentioned.

I played yesterday for the first time and did it by hand...I must say I am absolutely boggled by some of the clues that a few of the players gave. Seemed to have absolutely no relation to the secret word.  :-\

No I think the auto users give very fast clues and copy as soon as someone answers.

LOL I included my answer in the quote when I deleted part of the code.

In the classic version, you'll soon discover that there is a pattern to clue giving within the clue itself.  It's an acquired skill... give it some time.  In the Rally version, people were downright rude to others when they didn't give good clues (which have to be actual words).  I prefer the Classic version.  You can be very creative there.  I love getting the ranks by hand in this game.  I'm at level 40 now, or close.  Good luck, Fanny.

I've noticed it's quite odd.  :ooo I suppose I will understand it eventually but until then I opt out of clue giving.  :@

Maybe there should be a "Cluegiving For Dummies" thread here.  :)))

Meh. I like the Rally mode better. Proper and straight-up language.  :-[

There was a very obvious auto user in the room I was just in, she had been there all day, and yup, people were getting extremely pissed off, reporting her, and trying to figure out how to screw up her auto usage.  She didn't have cluegiver turned off at all though.
