windows vista probs

hi, i have just upgraded to windows vista and my word riot deluxe is extremly slow to run. :/// has any one any idea as to why this is?

Vista is a big time memory hog. Try turning off any unnecessary programs. Vista users should have a minimum of 2GB RAM
