When she had a newsconference with her attorney after the hearing, she cried. Daughters been missing 13 weeks and she cried because she was indicted. Has she not understood at all that there was commission of a crime if she does not have her child. I would hope that one of the charges has to do with naming an innocent woman to the police.

I cannot say what I would like cause Homer would have to smack me.  I love children and when I hear of one missing or getting hurt or abused drives me over the edge.  My husband always says only one thing scares in him life. And that is a woman defending a child.  Said that is a person that could do unbelievable things to you.  She would be nothing be a muddy spot in the road when I got through

I suppose we should consider her innocent until proven guilty.........but I am having a tough time with this one.  Her lawyer says when the public hears the whole story they will understand and have great sympathy for Casey........I doubt it.  If there was an explanation then this the lady should have spoken up at the beginning instead of waiting for what, her trial.  I cannot think of an excuse for all the lying she has done, other than to hide a crime and protect herself.

Child remains found near missing Fla. girl's home

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A team of medical examiners and detectives were hustling to identify the skeletal remains of a child found in a wooded lot in central Florida Thursday, hoping to solve the six-month-old mystery of a missing toddler.

Caylee Anthony, 3, has been reported missing since July.

On Thursday, less than a half-mile from where the girl lived, a utility worker stumbled upon remains of a small child.

There was nothing that immediately indicated the remains were Caylee's. But Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said his investigators and the FBI would work around the clock and through the weekend to identify the child.

"Now the investigation continues," Beary said. "There is a lot of lab work to do. There is a lot of DNA work to do. There is a lot of crime scene work to do."
Nothing spoils a good story like the arrival of an eyewitness.

I know an identification has yet to be made but I'm getting a bad feeling from this....

An article this morning says "some items of interest" were taken from the grandparents house last night. If that is the trash bags and or duct tape there is no way their daughter is going to be able to say that "Zani" stole her (while stealing trashbags and duct tape in a house she never has been in). I hope because of all the lies to the police dept who were TRYING to find her child, they up the penalty to death.

So sad...........there are so many couples who want children and cannot have them.  What a tragedy for an innocent child.

CrystalDawn

I see the top story today is that the judge denied the mothers lawyer of seeing the remains of the body. Why in the hell would he think he could see them if the body has yet to be idenified? And even after that, they shouldn't let anyone do anything until they get all the evidence they need. I have a feeling the body is going to be Caylee's, and that is sad. If her mother did do it..I hope they don't kill her because she should have to live everyday of the rest of her life in prison, while she suffers everyday for killing her own child.

They do not live in a backwater city. My son is a Medical Examiner here in San Diego and all autopsies are filmed and documented with a Medical Examiner and several detectives. Unless she had a tshirt saying Caylee on it I doubt they would be letting any alleged family members there just for viewing and never would they let a proctor of the alleged victim attend the autopsy.

But that, Tara, is because you would understand the suffering every single day. This is a gal who spent the first days of her daughters death dancing almost nude at a night spot. It would be about her - always about her and never about Caylee. I say death penalty.

Normally I would agree with you, but in this case... think about it... in prison they do not look kindly on mothers who abuse or murder their children.... you're right, it WOULD be all about her and she would pay dearly, every single day, for what she has done.

Dateline is coming on right now and the show is going to be on the whole story of this.

I have a hard time coping with any Mother doing this to thier child although it seems the norm now instead of the exception.
I am praying if she did it, that she will be put in the general population and maybe from time to time she could get us some pictures of her and her party friends in there.
police.gif I hope the party time was worth what she is going to have to go through in prison.  prisoner.gif

my question is..how could that have been in that location for all this time and all those search and rescue dogs and personnel, not have come across it,at least the dogs should have gotten some scent from it?

The news report said that the area was not fully investigated because it's been under water.  The water has recently drained/dried up.  That's what I heard.

Yep, that's exactly what they said. From watching Dateline last night, the skulls mouth was covered in duct tape. Duct tape is good for holding fingerprints and DNA, even when its been underwater.

arniebear

I just wish it would not take so long for the identification, where is Gil Grissom when you need him  :-\

I am SO hopeful that that is exactly what happens.  A hair was caught by the tape... a fingerprint is on the adhesive.... someone else's blood/skin is trapped, etc.  I am really looking forward to a conviction, which I feel is definitely going to happen.  It's my guess that she didn't work alone, though.... her boyfriend may be involved.  Just a feeling...
