No not unless they have a marathon week, which you can do 3 personal challenges.  Other than that you got fork over some gems for the premiums.

Wow, blacklord4, that is awesome... WTG... After losing my sight I gave up on pogo, but have been able to work my way back in and am able to play. Just completed the 2005 and am working on the 2003. Anyways, nice job. :D

Not sure when exactly but I heard pogo is planning another marathon, wonder if maybe around labor day.  I have all  the books filled but have lots of friend who don't.  They should do those more often.

Like everyone else said, you just have to wait for the marathons where Pogo allows you to do 3 personal challenges instead of just one. Only other way to get gems is to win some in a spin, but that amount is so low and the chance so rare that you may as well bite the bullet and buy some, if you want to get the premium badges.
