[Split] 2 way radios

Anyone know anything about 2-way radios? I was going to buy this pair for a fathers day present (yes I know fathers day is over, I'm a late shopper) $29.99 Uniden, 22 channel, 38 privacy codes per channel, charger included, and 5 mile range.

I've got three Bearcat scanners.  I agree, the quality is the best.

Uniden is Bearcat, might not have the Bearcat name on it, but still, same thing
