Limit on how many times a code can be shared?

Just wondering if there is a maximum # of times I can share a code for a game I purchased?

I've heard both but at first I heard you get the primary copy for your computer with 5 more for other puters.  That makes 6.  I can't remember where I heard it.... sorry.... so it may not be official.
