bb7 beats bb9???

I have both versions on my comp now and I noticed that my bb7 does hella better at soving puzzles than bb9.  Is bb9 using the same algorithm to solve the puzzles?  I also like the statistics bb7 keeps rather than just the average and number of puzzles completed.  What does everyone else think?  I know for a fact that my bb7 earns more tokens with the same settings as bb9.  Anyone else experience the same thing?

I think these updates are because of pogo changing the game around.

I thought so too, but that still doesn't explain why one solves better than the other.  I did notice that bb9 seems to only run through about 10-20 "scenarios" per second, where bb7 seems to go through almost 100.  bb9 just seems inefficient, and I am wondering why it was changed for the worse.  At least it seems that way to me.
