Google has now made changes to the search engine that requires me to make several clicks to get to one search. I have hand problems and use search all day long. Not only that but the way they are doing it is misleading and is making many online businesses suspect when they are not. They have added a warning <b>"This site may harm your computer."</b> on almost everything except (I have a feeling) those that have a business relationship with Google. It is doing this to almost every site I search even sites like dictionaries that I have used for years without collecting malware. I actually think that this new edition is their way of bringing in revenue as they have not responded to me about exactly what on a particular site that I have used for years is going to cause harm. The owner of the business does not know what to do as Google is not responding. He says he does not have any Google advertising on his site so his questions go to a low priority queue. I will respond to their non-response by finding a new search engine, new homepage and remove their toolbar because I do not want to click 3 times then copy and paste the website in order to get somewhere.

BTW: Pogocheats.net is one of the ones that comes up with the "warning".

Anyone have some good ideas on a productive search engine?

After contacting my friend who runs a website selling car parts, I found that it may just be a Google error. He has a phone number contact and it has been busy for hours. I cut and paste every Contact for Google and got 502 errors which is "site temporarily overloaded":
Google Error Server Error
The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.
Please try again in 30 seconds.

I had to cut and paste Google itself to get into it past the warning!

It appears to be corrected. I should have done a screenprint of the results for Pogocheats.net. Found an article about it already :

I did not realize how much I depend on Search Engines for everything.

QuoteGoogle users get bogus warning on site searches

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) — Computer users doing Google searches during a nearly one-hour period Saturday morning were greeted with disturbing but erroneous messages that every site turned up in the results might be harmful.

The company blamed the mistake on human error and apologized for any inconvenience caused to users and site owners whose pages were incorrectly labeled.

The glitch occurred between 9:30 a.m. EST and 10:25 a.m. EST, Google Inc. said in an explanation on its company blog. Anyone who did a Google search during that time likely saw the message "This site may harm your computer" accompanying every search result, the company said.

Google said it routinely flags any search results with that message if the site is known to install malicious software in the background or otherwise surreptitiously, a practice aimed at protecting its users. Google said it maintains a list of suspicious sites based on criteria developed with StopBadware.org, a nonprofit project headed by legal scholars at Harvard and Oxford universities who research consumer complaints.

Saturday's error happened when Google erroneously applied one of its periodic list updates in such a way that the warning would apply to all URLs, the company said in a statement.

The glitch was caught by on-call staff and the file was quickly fixed, Google said. Since the updates are applied in a staggered and rolling fashion, the errors began appearing at 9:27 a.m. EST and disappeared no later than 10:25 a.m. EST, with the duration for any particular user approximately 40 minutes, it said.

"We will carefully investigate this incident and put more robust file checks in to prevent it from happening again," said Marissa Mayer, vice president of search products and user experience, in the statement.

You expect to be lied to by Pogo. That has happened from the beginning and continues and we do not ever believe anything said by Pogo.

But Google! Sheesh .... I know for a fact that this statement is downplaying because the moment I got online at 5 am I got a desperate IM from a friend with a business who had been seeing it since 3am when he got online. And he was trying on the phones to get help from their support system because he while he doesn't have Google ads on his site he pays Google so he can be bumped up higher on the search list for his auto parts website. He told me that when he started calling it was busy and he had his phone set to continue to call back. How hard is it to admit to several hours? I know from my own attempts at around 5:10 that it was down at 8:10 Eastern and why does a Pacific zoned company use Eastern Time in its explaination? Google lied to me and I am disappointed and less trustful of them now.
