Actually, they sound spelled correct.

There was a study that showed as long as the first and last letters were in the correct places all others could be scrambled (even tho you left out a letter) our brains could read the words correctly. Ists kndia hrad wtih trehe lteter wrdos.

I've been doing some writing lately and it's true... your mind is very efficent and fills in blanks. If you write a sentence accidently omitting a word, then go back and read it, your mind will have filled in the missing word so when you read it it still sounds correct. Or something like that. LOL
