Has anyone ever called you a "squint"? Well if they have I bet you didn't know what it meant. Today on Tara's helpful hints we are going to take a closer look at the word.  giggle2.gif

From the urban dictionary I found this...

1) geek.
2) extremely intelligent person who lacks social skills.
3) derogatory term for such people that stereotype them as people who examine things very closely and look down on others that are not as intellectually intelligent.
4) a nickname for scientists, who "squint" a lot in their work
"The squints were assigned to examine the body very closely to find out clues about how the person was killed."

Often said in the TV Show, Bones.

To be incapable of opening one's eyes more than just a slit. May result from constant exposure to smoke, i.e. in the case of a pothead, or in the event of being struck in the face by a piece of citrus fruit at high velocity.
The stoner squinted at me after I pegged him in the face with an orange.

Guilty as charged. I no longer complain when my favorite restaurant forgets to give me a slice of lime with my fish taco.

giggle2.gif  No, actually I was looking  magnifier.gif for the extra shovel and wheelbarrow, out in the garage, in case you need my help to bury Homer. Should I bring the camera?  camera.gif Yeah, we do think a lot alike, must be because we are Squints. I think it is what is referred to as a "backhanded compliment" we will just have to back into it.  ass.gif

I was going to post this siggy below. 'Cause sometimes it does take a village..right?  giggle2.gif
