Wow .. talk about a false positive.

If the cheats contained any viruses, they wouldn't have been in business for over 6 years ...
Nothing spoils a good story like the arrival of an eyewitness.

I'll tell you what sucks. Lately, Trend Micro, a very well respected and reliable anti-virus software program has been reporting Trojans in the Oberon Media/Pogo Downloadable games.  HOWEVER, I have never had them identify anything wrong with the autos from this site.

Try running HouseCall or some other programs as well. I don't know why it's happening but lots of "false positives" are being reported, as I said, by very well known and respected programs about well known and respected gaming companies.

With all the auto programs I have on my puter if they contain all that pc would have died along time ago.  I get false/postive on the oberon games too.

IndianLover

Hmm... I have several autos on my puter and My antivirus has never and I mean NEVER said I had a virus with these programs.  You might want to use something else to protect your puter.

I had to give up bacon. I could never eat just one piece. I had to have the whole pound. So I went cold turkey and swore off the fried pork fat.  And no, I didn't take up turkey bacon.

antivirus programs are just "guides"

They cannot be trusted 100% for accuracy. Consider it to be like a lie detector test...if it tells you it is a virus, it could be, but very may likely be not.

FreecellFanny

Trend Micro always identified the Pigs auto as a Trojan. Thankfully I knew it wasn't.

However, the past few weeks I have been battling a malware program called Spyware Protect 2009. Trend Micro didn't even block the program from getting on my computer and it certainly was incapable of cleaning up the problem.

Enter another program recommended by a geek friend, Microsoft Live One Care (or some such mumbo jumbo name) and it cleaned up the malware but in the process deleted 3 of my Pogo deluxe games and 4 of my Big Fish games by identifying them as being infected with viruses.

No one program is foolproof and I have to redownload my games again but big deal. At least I got rid of the malware.
