need help

i have received a password form badgehelp for triviamaster that is ( ####-#####-#### ) witch is 15 spaces long and the password part
only takes 8 letters i have emailed badgehelp and have been told to make sure i an entering the right letters i have cut and pasted the code but it just wont fit i also forwarded them the original email that they sent me  with the code and they are still saying i am entering the wrong code
i have also emailed replacecodes and they are saying the same hope someone might be able to help me with this matter
