smooth font edges

i was trying to use the cheat for fortune bingo but it said the computer is using smooth font edges. it said that i had to right click to bring up properties, but when i do this it just says general properties and i don't have the tabs. i have vista so i am lost at how to do this could someone please help... i appreciate it.. thanks

Right click on your desktop screen and select "Personalize"

Click on "Window Color and Appearance"

Click on the "Effects" button.

Uncheck the box "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts"

Click on the "Ok" button and hit "Apply"
