Does anyone know what a J String error message is or means?  I sometimes get it and I had ask badgehelp and they said to ignore it, however last night running an auto it stopped the program because of a J string error.  If anyone knows what it is or what causes it or how I get rid of it I would appreciate it.
Thank you

What version of java are you using?  What OS do you have? Give me the exact message the next time it occurs.  I will do some digging and see if I can come up with an answer.

tumbsup.gif  I have windows xp, I'm not sure of the Java version, but I did uninstall and reinstall so I will see if that helps.  Next time I get the message I will let you know, maybe you can dig around and figure out what the problem is.  I have done a few searches and come up blank.  Thank you for trying to help I appreciate it very much.

Well there has been much discussion about what Java version is BEST for running autos depending on what OS you have.  When people start having game issues, the answer is to revert back to a stable version of java that does not create the problems and then turn OFF the java updates so your system will not update itself to the latest version (that may be causing your problems).

Make sure that all other versions of java have been uninstalled and deleted first. Then REBOOT.   Then go to HERE:  http://java.sun.com/products/archive/
Then go to JDK/JRE 5.0  and dropdown box to update 13.  This is best for XP only....not Vista.  Go into your java panel and turn off updates.
