good morning all i have a question about windows 7 upgrade
if we update our operating system will our cheat helpers work with
the new system upgrade or do we have to download all of them again
and ask for all new codes?

When I went from XP to Vista I had to so I think the answer is yes you have to update all your autos. I remember that Vista had major problems with lots of the autos and they even have a special link for upgrading to Vista on the Technical Board. I have heard that the autos seem to work fine with the new Windows 7.

I have ordered my upgrade disks but I wont be upgrading anytime soon.  It may take some things a bit to catch up.  With Microsoft being among the last is usually best.

I'm not 100% sure to tell you the truth - I do not have Windows 7 atm.

Your best bet would be to email badgehelp.

Orion.........if you are upgrading from Vista to 7 I believe you will still have your autos intact.  But if you are doing what they call a "Clean install", then no...it will reformat your hard drive and you will lose everything you had on it.  That is why they suggest when making  any changes to an operating system you back up everything in case something goes awry.

You also want to go to your  computer's manufacturer's website and make sure that they have the updated drivers you will need for your computer before making the switch.  For instance, I have a HP laptop and I got Windows 7 before it was publicly released and I did a clean install because I heard from other puter guru's that upgrading over another OS can cause problems and they all recommended a clean install.  However, none of HP's programs that came with my computer were reinstalled (such as HP games, HP total advisor, etc..)  It was just Windows 7 the operating system and the new Windows Media Player.  I called HP and they said I had to wait until Oct 22 when windows 7 was released and then wait even further for them to release any and all updated drivers for my particular model.

Now with that being said....I did NOT have any problems installing windows 7 and it recognized all of my internal components, such as my wireless card and graphics card etc without any problems.  I have not installed my printer yet as I have a desktop that is hooked up to that and have no need at this time to try to install it.

I also have my laptop with the regular settings for using autos and have had no problems running them (using the windows classic theme, font smoothing off, etc..)

Good luck with your transition!  I hope it goes as smooth as mine went.  Just keep in mind what I said above.  tumbsup.gif

If you do a clean install and you bought the 150 page, just email badgehelp and they will reset your password page and yes you will have to redownload them.  If you upgrade over Vista...then from what I heard about it keeping all of your programs intact from other people..then I would say NO you wont lose them...but I am not 100% certain on that.

just bought it and installed it....so far not very impressed white flag.gif

It just labels your stuff from Vista as Vista Old, everything is there such as files or pics, but the programs will be unusable.  You will have to have your 150 reset or email and get the sn's again.
