We are trying something new and would like to get your feedback on it.

Instead of using ImageShack to upload your images, you can now use TinyPic to host your images. Just click on the new "Upload Image" button (the button sits just above the smilies) and you will get a small pop up screen where you can upload your image. You do not need to create an account.

Just click on the "browse" button and point to the image file - then click on the 'Upload Now" button.

After the image is uploaded, a new box will appear (in the same window) with the code you need to paste in your post for the image to appear.

Please let us know if you prefer this method or the old ImageShack way. Thanks!

Never do anything you wouldn't want to explain to the paramedics

Squid

What if you want to go back to that image to get it again on another day?  Do you have to re-upload it?

Homer

There is a resize option in the pop up .. or did I misunderstand what you wrote.

No, I must have missed the resize thingy. No surprise there.

OK, this time I chose the "forums and message board" size.

Stinkerbell

OK, that's a better size. I hope I get this figured out soon. I'm almost out of partially clad males and will have to start practising with the nudes.

When you hit the reply button, the "Post Reply" page has a bunch of buttons above the smiley section. There is a button labeled "Upload Image".

I'm not sure if that is possible .. my attempts so far just gives me template parse errors.

I'll see if anyone on the SMF support site have any solutions for this.
