Badge for gifting???

So I was in a room today, sort of half paying attention and someone was talking about getting a badge for giving gifts...they left before I could ask them about it...does anyone know anything about this?

I have not heard a word till now about this. That could be fun. Of course all my friends are cheaters and they own everything in the mall already. So kinda hard to gift them.

There are several challenges in Mahjong Safari where you have to give gifts. Otherwise, this sounds like a scam.
