Simple questions from a Newbie...

Hope these questions are not too simplistic for everyone, but I'm a Pogo newbie, and would like to know a few things if anyone will help:

1.  What are badges?

2.  How do you get them?

3.  What are they good for...what can you do with them, use them for, etc.?

Would also love to hear anything else you might want to share...I'm sure there will be other questions I'll have, but just don't know enough right now to know what all to ask.  Anything you can anticipate I might need to know down the line?

Hello newbie,

Badges are just silly images that pogo offers every Wednesday to get. They have no value whatsoever other than the fact you got them.  So many in here live their life getting them.  I have no idea why.  I prefer to spend my time making money. 

Many here just use auto's to get them and again they are worthless but so are tokens..  I guess they are addicted to that stuff.  To each their own..  oh and then you can spend more money to get other usless badges.

are you on club pogo or just pogo? because you can only get badges on club pogo. you get them by playing games and winning them. as far as what they're good for, well you can use it in place of your mini in game rooms (in the who's here area).

Pogo is a gaming site that offers badges when accomplishments are achieved in the games.  These are virtual "rewards" for having met an objective.  They have no value except that there is a sense of accomplishment by the player.

You get the badge by playing the games by hand and either meeting a challenge, reaching a certain rank in the game, completing a badge album or showing up on special occasions (holiday badges, etc).  You can also get the badges by using automatic programs (autos) that will play the game for the player while the player sees to other things in life, like earning a living, doing laundry, spending time with family and friends - just to mention several examples.

This site is dedicated to the dissemination of information and fun.  While many users of this forum use the cheat programs, some do not.  Using autos is not a requirement for membership on this site.

Gotcha....thanks, everybody.  I'm not a Club Pogo member...just playing for fun...so I guess that's why I haven't seen any further info about Badges, etc.

Just have fun the way you want.  There are some great games on Pogo and you can have plenty of fun on the free site.  Just most of us here are addicted to badges and getting them all.  And if you are Joec you not happy till you got them 10x each.  Anyway you are welcome here to ask questions anytime you like.  I just get my drawers in a wad when someone gets preachy and rude about my cheat family.  We are aware that the badges arent worth anything to anybody but us.  Its our addiction and we are proud of it.

can someone help me? I have the download game WORDWHOMP WHACKDOWN and the cheat program to play it but the game lioads off site and fills the screen. There is no way I can use the cheat program. Is there a trick to this??

Sorry getting old is just a real hoot. i know what i mean to do but sometimes(most times) it goes astray.  Like today  I put on my treadmill shoes.  My grandson came up and asked me why i had on 2 different shoes.  Just a day in the life of me.

Are you talking about the regular pogo game or one of the deluxe downloadable games?
