 Some daily promotions work off of the midnight to midnight "day" (Pogo's midnight is US Pacific Time Zone), and others work off of a 24 hour countdown timer from the time you activated/used it "day."

The daily 1000 token Scrabble promotion (and it STILL works) is an example of the latter. Even though the Word Whomp 5000 token promotion claims to be weekly, it actually works daily (as many have discovered), the same way as the Scrabble one - the 24 hour clock starts counting down each time you receive your tokens.

Seems Pogo finally did sew up the loophole allowing 5000 daily Word Whomp tokens. 

But the 1000 daily Scrabble tokens still works.
