xxx.exe not a valid win32 application

I can not load sushi or either harvest mania programs on my Vista system. Any suggestions? Thanks

I read topic and tried to find the mentioned " Data Execution Prevention tab", without success, on my Vista system. I looked at all likey prospects to no avail. I missed the file somehow. Thanks.

Ok I found the DEP under the system/advance systemsettings/performance settings/Data Execution Prevention. The DEP was set for "just windows essential programs" when I got there.

Now what? Do I "add" a program to exception list?

Is there a DEP-compatible version of the program?

delete the programs
reboot your pc
redownload from BH website

If nothing Homer or I have told you works, then you're SOL unless you can figure it out on your own.

Deleted sushi program but got same results with the application crashed.

I finally got the program to work after I added the setup xxx.exe to the DEP file.


I do not know why but it works.  Persistance pays off. Have a great night.  Gerald
