The site will be down for 10-15 mins.

We had a hard drive failure and it needs to be replaced. My apologies for the short notice.

It could be a whole lot worse ... it's a good thing we setup raid on the hard drives. The secondary drive is now picking up the slack.

Without raid, the site would have gone offline (without notice) and it would have taken ~4 hours to re-install the OS and server software and get everything back up and running

Sorry about the extended downtime .. server booted back up fine, but they had issues with it connecting to the internet.

We are not able to rebuld the raid until we do a filesystem check on the hard drive.

That means booting up in to single user mode - which will bring the website down again for about 30 mins.

I'm not sure when we'll start, but it could happen within the next hour. I do apologize for all the downtime, but this is necessary.
