I dont have java log or java something checked but I do have virtual machine checked.  Can you help me with what the difference is and should I change this?  I dont know what to do and I haven't seen this posted before.  Anyway help will be greatly appreciated from techs or anyone that knows about computers.  I also switch between browsers IE and mozilla.  Sometimes one works better than the other.  I have windows 2000 xp home edition  I normally have the color at  32 and the size of screen 1024 X 768 at all times.  I found most programs use the same color setting 32 bit and screen size.  Thanks for the info and any help.  I hope I have given you the info that you will need and will be able to answer the ? about virtual game machine from microsoft I think.  And if there is something better to use please post and leave highlights address and I will download.   Getty

i would like to learn how to do the double brouser but i still dont know what the difference is if any.  But I was afraid to ask about double brouse.  I normally wouldn't use it but I can see in some instances it would be beneficial.  Any help is appreciated!!  Thanks for taking the time to read and respond  :  ) :-*

well there is the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) and the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine (MJVM).  Both do basically the same thing but in slightly different ways.  The MJVM used to be packaged with windows i think but it is now harder to find.  I would recommend you stick with the JVM because it is easy to find and is still updated occaisionally.  If you didn't have it you could get it from java.sun.com (no www in front of that address).  I am not sure what your "virtual log" is but i haven't messed with mine so leave it on the default setting.  good luck!

Thanks all I appreciate the information and lesson.  Now if you could help instruct me in using the double browser that would be appreciated.  And I used to hear about playing 2 games at the same time but different ones.  I had the directions cause I thought that would be neat, auto for those 2 games but I lost the instructions and never tried it.  Anyone heard of this!!

When you go looking for the sun jvm, don't go to java.sun.com--that site is for programmers and has far too much stuff to choose from.

You want to go to www.java.com where it has only the stuff an end-user wants.
