These 2 download games are on sale at Pogo for half price.
I have never purchased any of these games but these have ranks and badges and
are half price.  tumbsup.gif
I need opinions from anyone who has purchased and downloaded games from Pogo.
Do you like how they work?
Are they full of glitches and problems once you download them?
I have an older computer that runs windows xp and not sure about my memory on this computer.
It takes a while for Pogo games from their website to open for me now.
Will adding these games do anything to affect that?
Anything you can add to help me decide would be appreciated.

I can't give you feedback on the games, as I've never tried them, but you can check how much RAM and the speed of your processor by right clicking on "My Computer" and choosing properties. You should be on the "General" tab by default and in the bottom right it'll show you RAM and processor type. The minimums for Tri Peaks 2 for instance is

        Windows 2000, Vista, XP
   CPU/Speed: P3- 500
   RAM: 256 MB RAM
   DirectX: 7.0

You shouldn't have a problem with DirectX 7.0, and as long as you have 256 or more RAM and your processor is a Pentium3 or higher you should be good to go.

I have an older pc with xp and have both those games...I have ranked out in both..I haven't played either since I ranked out but they played great for me..I don't remember any problems except that the lottso I think was long and boring..

Thanks Gran....do the games play as if we were playing on Pogo with the rooms and sharing who comes in etc? When the games are downloaded do we still need an internet connection to play to get the credit for the ranks or can it be played on our own without internet connection and then connect later to have our work downloaded to Pogo? Can we use Uncle Auto with these games? I thought Lotso would be a long one and can wait on getting that one. Thank you for your help.

Thanks snap....I did as you said and found out that I have,
Windows XP
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
I play on Internet Explorer 8 on this computer
789 MHz
384 MB of Ram

I couldn't find my CPU/Speed. It wasn't listed there.
And I didn't see the Direct X listed there either.

And I don't know what kind of processor I have either. I do have stickers on this laptop that say AD Turion64 and Designed for Windows XP and one more sticker that says TMI Graphics Express 2004
Do you know where I can find the other information?
Thanks for the help

The 789MHz is the speed of your CPU (processor), so that is fine.

To find out what DirectX you have, this Microsoft page will explain how to check: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/157730

Well, shows how much I know about the processor I have  giggle2.gif
At least that's going to work.
Will go check out your link for DirectX
Sure do appreciate your help.

I couldn't get the games. I did find out that I have
Directx 9.0c so that was good.
But it said I have 382 memory of Ram
But then under that it said I have 653MB used and 266MB available
So that made me think I didn't have enough of what I needed
to get these games.
So, I will play what I have.
Just hard to resist a 50% off sale  giggle2.gif

Thank you for your help  tumbsup.gif

The used and available isn't RAM, it's the Page file, which is different from RAM. Pay no attention to that. You only need 256MB of RAM and you have 382 (actually 384).

You won't have any problems playing the games based on your computer specs.
