According to what I read on Amazon.com, the Advantage formulas which are sold separately based on the size of your pet is just one formula portioned out...never considered that.  SO~I can purchase one tube of large dog dose at $13.00 and eyedropper measure out 6-8 cat sized portions (or small dog, whatever you got) which would normally cost $50 for 6 cat sized portions  cheesy.gif dancing16.gif You will need to store the leftover in a small airtight glass vial so it doesn't dry out, and this also seems to be true with the Frontline formula (which IMO doesn't work)

Never use dog products for a cat...You can kill your cat...

it's all the same formula and had excellent reviews?  I'd never do anything to hurt my kitties

You could do harm to the kitties. As mommie to 5 of the little darlings do not do it. To risky

Advantage is the same ingredients for cats and dogs: Imidacloprid. As long as you administer the right dosage, there should be no reason canine Advantage should harm your felines.

However, you should never, ever, ever apply canine Advantix, Frontline or Revolution on your feline as they have separate canine-only chemicals in them

Personally..if it says for dogs..I will not use it on my cat..just not worth the risk to me..
