Interesting that you posted that, Mayhem.  I saw it for the first time yesterday and, while it's clever, I doubt I will ever do it.  My empty bottles go right into recycling and I don't want extra crap in my kitchen.  The same thing can be done with a slotted spoon or the ol' switch back n' forth between shell halves.  I'll never go to the trouble of getting an empty bottle.

For someone not quite  skilled in the art of separating the yolks from the whites, (  My daughter comes to mind      )  this might just be the solution.   thanx for the post
