I can't down load java because the destination folder is corrupt.  How do I fix this?
Never do anything you wouldn't want to explain to the paramedics

Homer

remove java completely via add/remove program in control panel

reinstall java

PogoCheats - It's all about the badges!!!

Okay....first pogo said I needed to install java, though it does have java on it and 2 hour earlier I was able to play pogo just fine.

I removed java, then I tried reinstalling it.  That's when I got the message.

I tried it a 2nd time and java got installed just fine.

any ideas whats going on??

I take it the problem installing Java was fixed.
What browser are you using?
IE, FireFox, Chrome, etc.

If your getting the update Java message pop down in Chrome, you need to uninstall Chrome and then reinstall it.
I had the same problem with Chrome and Googled about it and finally found that fix and it worked for me.

I hope this helps you.

Please try to perform the following steps:

1. First Click Here To Goto Download Site and download the file to your Desktop.

When the download completes, run the file and complete the installation.

2. Once the installation has been completed, click the 'Start' menu, then select 'All Programs', and select the following file:

"Windows Install Clean Up"

3. In the window that opens, please search the list for 'Java' or any other software that may be giving you this similar problem.

4. Select it, click 'Remove', and let the program run and when it is through click 'Exit'.

If you have uninstalled it you need to reinstall it before it will appear in that programs list of programs that you can uninstall.

This program was discontinued by Microsoft, but it still is available on allot of sites. If you would rather download from a different site then the one above, just Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc the following: "Windows Install Clean Up"

This program helped me big time with Incredimail. Somehow the mail client got corrupted and I could uninstall it, but the install would always error out.

If after you have done the above steps and the Java is still crashing, it may not be a good release of Java. After I updated to the latest version of Java, I played Pogo that day, and the next day when I went back it said I needed Java installed to play the games.

Either it is a problem with the latest Java update or Pogo is Fk'ed up again as usual.

Hopefully this will help you resolve your issue!

P.S.

Let me know how it goes.

Clue is not a java based game. I think it's a flash based game? Most all of the pogo games over the past few years are not java based, but flash based games, simply because pogo now borrows games from other sites, instead of introducing their own new games.

I'd suggest trying to update your flash, or if you still think it's java based issue, change browser. Good luck

Clue is not a java based game.

That doesn't matter as Pogo still requires Java in order to work., not all of Pogo is flash, even on a flash based game page.
