Pogo has made some adjustments to the gem packages.

Nothing spoils a good story like the arrival of an eyewitness.

I can't remember exactly what the prices were before but I think for
19.99 you got 350 gems so the new prices are not a good deal.
And I think for 40 dollars you got 750 gems.

I figured it out and the prices have gone slightly up... especially the largest pkg. now and then.

Sue

Wonder what the EA cards are worth now. Each card was for 350 gems and cost 20 dollars.

I have some cards I have not used yet that I got for my birthday.

This is what it will cost per Gem as of now:

This is what I purchased all the time and the per Gem price:

So for the Biggest Package the cost per Gem went up by 0.00267

Next time I purchase, it will be the 1000-gem package.

Maybe Pogo is going to add ranks to Greenback Bayou and charge gems to play.

Buy the EA cards on sale for $15.00 (350 gems) = 0.0428571428571429 per gem.  I bought three cards the last time they went on sale.  I just used up the third and now I'm sad.   sad.gif

I was so afraid that they changed the amt of gems we were gonna get with the EA cards because nothing on the card says anything about the amount of gems you get. So today I entered the 2 codes I had off the EA cards and got the 350 gems on each. BUT....while trying to see if anywhere on the card it mentions the gems, I saw in very tiny print "Code Expires Dec 31, 2012". Cripes! They did still work but I never noticed any expiration date before.

I think they had one of the 2 sales at Gamestop in Feb last year. I hope they have one soon - very soon.

Edited to add that I just looked closer (for Lucky) and the expiration date appears to be for using the codes on Sims. Under the EA part it states "funds do not expire" - not sure what that means but I am going to take that literal.

5% price increase on the largest package.

Greetings,
Remember when we finally got 600 badges.  It was a monumental achievement.  Now look at the totals.  POGO is smart...they sell badges for Gems and we buy Gems with real plastic money.  What a country.

I can't believe I just spent 60 bucks on gems.  Do I need my head examined?

You need to apply for the Target REDCARD. At least then you would get 5% off of your purchase. And $3 is exactly what it cost to get your head examined at Target.

Squid

I used a card on which I get 5% off.  That's great but it still stings.  Ouch.

so with the ea game card that's $20, how many gems do we get?  Saw them at safeway today and was wondering

Target is hard for me to get to.  Nearest one is 65 miles away, one way.

You can probably apply online and it's good for any credit purchase, not just Target.

 Greetings,
I do NOT want to know how much I spend on GEMS.   POGO is so smart.  They have me PAY-to-PLAY.   What a country.
