Is anyone getting a timeout when trying to use the searchbot 1.7 beta?  I had it work last week.  I have uploaded the dictionary file to see if that changed anything but didn't help.

I get 30 second timeout...trying again and it never connects.
Set to Search for Web. 30 searchs, 7-10 seconds, show IE window, Mobile on 20 searches, 2 accounts, dictionary loaded.

Could you copy/paste what the status screen shows when this happens? (minus your account info of course)

BingSearchBot v1.7 Beta 1

Please click on the "Settings" tab and choose your options.

Click "Start" when ready.

I click start and then...

30 second timeout ... trying again
Logging out of Bing ...
30 second timeout ... trying again
Logging out of Bing ...

Over and over again.  This is the 1.7 Beta 1.

When this happens, do you see anything load at all in the browser window?

it starts with logging out of Bing... and then the message as I put before.  I never get a window that even opens like in the past.

I can of course use the web link for single accounts with no issue.

Have you tried clearing your temporary internet files / rebooting your computer?

My system does it automatically at night every night with a full shutdown.  I will try again manually.

Tonight I will try it on a different PC just in case.  But no change when I did the above.

New computer... new installs of IE and bot... 1.7 doesn't work but 1.6 did.  I will continue to just use the 1.6 for now.

That's really weird .. I'm not sure why 1.6 works for you and 1.7 doesn't .. the code to handle login / searches is identical.

I have 1.72 as well and get the same:
30 second timeout ... trying again
Logging out of Bing ...
30 second timeout ... trying again
Logging out of Bing ...

I downloaded 1.71 two days ago and once I did I got that message and it has not been working since. Today I downloaded 1.72 and I still get the same message. It opens the IE window, logs out of bing, then never inputs anything to log in and just loops the ...trying again.

Is there a way to download an older version or is there some way to fix this?

I'm not sure why you are having this issue - I have reverted the login part of the code (in 1.72) back to version 1.6

What version of Internet Explorer do you have installed?
