Software is always changing and improving, especially when it comes to web technology. With that in mind, we are phasing out support for Internet Explorer 8. While most of Pogo will still work in IE8 or earlier, we will no longer be testing site functionality with it.

We highly recommend updating to the latest version of Internet Explorer available for your operating system. Please note that IE9, IE10, and IE11 will still be fully supported on Pogo. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 are still supported at this time as well.

Alternatively, you can use another supported browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome.

We always recommend that our players get the latest released version of their browser. To check which browser you are currently using, http://systeminfocheck.appspot.com/.

If it says you are running Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or lower, upgrading would be a good idea.

And as usual, Microsoft is giving different info depending on where you are looking.

Windows Support HAS ended on XP. They tell you that you can continue to use it BUT.... it won't be protected! I wrote them 2 months ago with one of my laptops and explained that every single time I turn it on it tells me I have updates needed. If I update it will reboot and tell me that I have updates needed. I wanted them to FIX this so I can run it without the constant message. They replied after 2 weeks with "XP Support has ended"! I wrote back that the problems with XP haven't. I never did use IE so I had no issue with the fact that you could not upgrade it on XP.

I have a laptop with Win 8 and a PC with Win 7 but I liked the old XP because I have several of the downloadables on it that you are not able to get any more like Diner Dash and me and my auto will do someones Diner Dash for a PBA. I guess I am gonna have to see if I can send the downloadables to disk and put them on the PC (my new laptop has a plugin cdr/dvdr and takes too many steps to even watch a movie.
