A quick google search is showing this:

An update for Pogo's iPhone is available, however it is not properly recognizing past purchasers of the ad-free upgrade process.

This also prevents Badges from being won.

Do not repurchase the ad-removal upgrade and please await further instructions.

If you do not have iOS 8, there is no need to update at this time.

The pogo forums is showing this:

The process of linking your Club Pogo account to the app has now changed. You will need to scroll to the bottom of this screen where you will see an "Update Membership" button. You then need to click it, login with your iTunes password and then you should be good-to-go. All of the info is included above this button.

You will not be charged. You will be linking your Pogo account to the itunes account, which will stop the prompt asking for 2.99 to play for badges or no longer see ads.

With that said, people are still having issues and pogo is working on it.

Greetings,
I can never see myself playing games on my iPhone.  Heck I use it to talk and sometimes text...I am stuck in the past.
