Windows 10 info

I purchased a Windows 10 computer.
I had a windows vista. Vista is all done. So, I'm lost in how to use the new one.Can anyone direct me to the best ways to learn how to use this new computer? I really need some direction that is in easy, not too complicated directions. All replies to help will be greatly appreciated.
I plan on using it for Pogo and emails. I need direction of best places to go and read and study.

When I downloaded Win 10, there were all sorts of offers from Microsoft on how to use the new operating system, etc.  Did you get any of those?  You might try googling that topic and see what comes up.  Also, I believe you can set it up to look like and behave like Win 7, while still actually being Win10.

Greetings and congrats on your new computer,
I just googled tips and tricks with windows 10, some sites were better than others. 
Do learn the names like "taskbar" the little bar at the bottom...I "pin" programs frequently to that.
And learn the "action center", you will find out Windows has lots of updates and Windows Defender likes to scan daily...BTW it is the little box next to your clock.

I gave it a 9 out of 10...would have been higher...but way too many updates.

Last thing...I like IE better than Edge

Hi Squid, I bought this computer new with Windows 10 on it.
It starts out with a bunch of Microsoft stuff and Macafee stuff that makes me have to accept to move on. I don't want both of them at all. I need to learn what I can so this computer stops taking over 2 iPads and a play station. I have to have the new computer on in order for the other to work. I took it back to Best Buy and letting the geek squad take that out. It also got set up to have to use a password every time. Geek Squad are changing that too. And all of this was page after page of stuff I didn't understand.
So, I hope to learn more about this so I'm not getting stuck over and over again.
I will do the Google and look into setting it up to the different Windows. Thanks

I've played that video over and over and found it to be very useful to me.
This was just what I needed to watch and learn.
I didn't even know where the heck the start button was.
I didn't get to any other suggestions because I've been on this one.

I was on a Windows Vista and able to survive that buggy darn old thing.
And so I have high hopes and excited to learn and use this one.

I didn't get any time today to do work on this today.
With Thanksgiving coming it seems there is so much to do.
But I'm so excited to know I'll be back on The internet again.
I've had generous family who have let me use their iPads.
But no pogo playing on them. It's their iPads and so their rules.
But that's ok, at least I can check out a few things.
It's hard to post when out of the loop in playing pogo.
But excited again and look forward to getting back and better then before.
I do agree with you snow flower. Not one complaint from me about anyone or this site. Really a great bunch and very appreciated.
