I used to be able to google search gifs and now all I get are links, most of them starting with the word ****. I don't know what happened, but I can't select "images" any more without getting a bunch of links. Is there a way to get rid of that and go back to the old google search?

What are the **** for? I just searched Google for a Happy Gif and got alot of images.

that's what I used to get too and for some reason it's not happening any more. it automatically goes to Search Encrypt..................

Search Encrypt is malware. It seems to be an extension that tracks your searches. I would see if you have that extension and if so remove it.

I should have looked this up first I DID get instructions on removing it
How To Remove Search Encrypt

Click the Chrome menu icon in the top right of the browser
Click "More tools"
Click "Extensions"
Click on the trash can icon for Search Encrypt
Click "Remove" on the dialog box that pops up

YES, but I had to do it 2 times. The second time I closed all windows to my desk top and it was gone. Back to my old self. Thanks for your help
