Welcome to the new forum!

This was a much overdue upgrade, which brings many new options and features. This includes a new theme, but with a familiar look and feel.

I hope you like the new changes, and please let us know what you think of them!


New features :

- A new theme with full support for mobile devices
- A new WYSIWYG Post editor (SCEditor)
- Draft messages (you can save & resume later)
- Likes (you can "like" posts)
- Mentions using @name syntax
- Real-time alerts for new likes, mentions, private messages in addition to email notifications


Draft messages :

Draft messages are stored on the server for 14 days. After that, they will be automatically deleted.

To auto-save your drafts every 30 seconds, visit your profile page and in the Look and Layout section, under the Posting section,
enable the option : Enable automatic saving of drafts.

Likes :

This one is pretty self explanatory. Click on the "like" button to like a post. When you do like a post, the author of the post will be notified.


Mentions :

Mentions are a great way to get a users attention. To mention someone in a post, simply use @username. The user in question will be notified.

Note: When typing the username, you can press [TAB] to auto-complete the name once the blue box appears.


Notifications :

You can view all your notifications here : https://www.pogocheats.net/forum/index.php?action=profile;area=showalerts

If you have new notifications waiting to be read, you will see a counter beside "My Messages" and "Alerts" located on the top-left side of the forum.

Once an alert has been read, it will be auto-deleted after 30 days. You can delete them yourself at anytime.


Notification Preferences :

To setup how you want to be notified when someone likes your post, @mentions your name and more, please visit the URL below :

To enable real-time desktop alerts :

Microsoft Edge
1) Click the padlock in the address bar.
2) Beside the "Notifications" settings, click on the dropdown box and select "Allow".
If you do not see the option, enter the following URL in your address bar and under "Allow", enter : [*.]pogocheats.net
edge://settings/content/notifications?search=notif

Google Chrome
1) Click the padlock in the address bar.
2) Click on "Site Settings".
3) Beside the "Notifications" settings, click on the dropdown box and select "Allow".

Chrome for Android
1) Open the Chrome app and select the vertical elipses icon in the top-right corner of the screen
2) Select the "Settings" option from the dropdown menu
3) Select the "Site settings" option
4) Select the "Notifications" option
5) Select PogoCheats.net and enable notifications for that domain

FireFox
1) Click the padlock in the address bar.
2) Click the arrow in the Site Information drop-down panel.
3) Click More information in the next panel to bring up the Page Info window.
4) Click the Permissions tab.
5) Under Send Notifications, choose "Allow". If your choices are grayed out, deselect the Use Default checkbox.

Safari
1) Select "Safari" in the action bar at the top of the screen and select "Preferences"
2) Click on the "Websites" tab and then select "Notifications" in the menu on the left-side of the preferences window
3) Select PogoCheats.net and enable notifications for that domain

Just a couple updates :

- There was an issue with notifications (not receiving them), which has been resolved.
- The "Recent Posts" button has been added back to the main menu.

I'm still tweaking a few things, but I'm overall happy with how it turned out.
