Greenback Guru Not working

I can't get Greenback Guru to work....any suggestions??  I have smooth text turned off....running Windows XP Pro, IE 6. 
I get game up and running....start GG and nothing happens; it's a fully registered program.

Here is additional info  :)

Windows XP Pro
IE 6
16 or 32 bit color setting .. neither works
1024x768 screen resolution
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts unchecked
Java Runtime Environment and Java VM
Nothing at all happens when I run this program.

If you bought it from wordz, you can go to his site and re-download it. I had the same problem with my older one, and now this one works perfectly.

Unfortunately, I did download it from Badgehelper.com again....still won't work.  Stupid question...how do you turn Java off???  Will head off and check my settings but let me know just in case I can't figure it out myself <g>   Thanks.....

Double click internet properties.

Scroll down and you will see the java. Uncheck the boxes. O0

YES !!!  That did it !!  It's working.  I thought you had to have Java running to play Pogo games????

Now could someone tell me why I'm playing Pogo games on IE and when I close out a window AOL starts????!!!!!!!!!

Scroll down and you will see the java. Uncheck the boxes. O0

Homer, help...
There is no "Internet Properties" IN control panel, but there's an Internet Options...
Then you say to scroll down and you will see the java, do you mean to go over to the "Advanced" tab first, then uncheck the box for the "Use Java 2.... for <applet> ..." thing?

I'm not being a smartass, just asking.


And I thought that the games were all java games. If you have that unchecked, then how's it supposed to work?
I miss the built in MS VM... But had to download that stupid Sun Micro Java thingy... it's slower than molasses! GRR, any suggestions?

Yes, that's what I meant. She was asking how to turn the java off. Apparently it worked for her with the java turned off. :o
