Group Challenges

can anyone explain to me a little bit better then pogo does what these group challenges are i dont relaly understand them and was hoping someone here could explain them just a bit better then pogo did

Boy, are we excited! We've got a completely new type of challenge coming to Club Pogo called a "Group Challenge!" A Group Challenge involves EVERYBODY on Club Pogo. We'll give three goals (each harder than the one before) and you'll be able to contribute just by winning tokens in ANY GAME YOU CHOOSE! If everyone pitches in enough tokens to reach any of the three goals, everyone who helped will get the special badge and token award that goes with it! Since each ach goal is a bit harder than the one before, each one gives out a cooler badge and a bigger token award than the one before.

There will be a special area on the Club Pogo website where you can check both your individual contribution and everybody's overall progress towards the three goals. We'll keep track of how many tokens you win for you; you won't have to cash them in. Each goal gives out a spiffier badge and more tokens.

Our first Group Challenge will start on Tuesday, September 14th, at 12 Noon (Pacific Time), and it will be an extra special event. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we'd like to team up with you to donate up to $10,000 dollars toward the fight against breast cancer! The better you do in the challenge, the more money we'll donate!

Make sure to log on September 14th to pitch in toward our first ever Club Pogo Group Challenge and toward the race to find a cure for breast cancer.


I guess it's like box tops you send in to help a school but in this case you get badges and pogo gives real $  for all the tokens club members collectively earn to research.
Example club members win 100,000 tokens pogo gives $100.00

How and where do you join a group... who picks the groups.... what if your group sucks and you want to be in a different one

I'm gathering that when it starts up, look at the badge central section (or somewhere it will be highlighted I imagine on the pogo home page), and you will probably have to "activate" the group challenge (so you're doing this willingly, not forcably) and once you do that, just go nuts on pogo and all tokens you would win, don't go into your account, but into a general pogo account.  You're not in teams, just playing your games as per the norm, only you don't get any tokens (until after you win the badge ;) )

thats what i got out of it and i also heard there is 3 challenges when one is beat you go on to a tougher one and you also get to pick the game you want to do this in so it might make pogo a bit more interesting but they need to come out with word jong too i think that will be very interesting

the group challenge dont give you tokens until you beat the chalenge every token you win goes to your group challenge account when you beat a challenge you get some back not much tho :(
