Club Pogo Member Appreciation Week is in full swing as we celebrate 17 years of games, Badges and memories with our amazing community. Let's take a quick look back at where we started, and where we're headed.

Club Pogo officially launched on July 23rd, 2003. The site was a lot humbler back then. In fact, the whole Internet was humbler back then. When Club Pogo launched, it was home to a handful of exclusive games, including Pop Fu, Jungle Gin, Dice Derby, Squelchies and Greenback Bayou. While most of those games have long since retired, Jungle Gin is still going strong thanks to a recent remastering.

Over time, that lineup expanded to include Word Whomp Whackdown and Tri-Peaks Solitaire, the first Club Pogo hit. Tri-Peaks Solitaire also introduced players to Tex Carter, our first human mascot. Even after all this time, Tex Carter is still hanging around, dodging boulders and man-eating plants. In fact, Tex recently made his small-screen debut, starring in a new dazzling sizzle reel for Tri-Peaks Solitaire HD. Take a look!

When you think about Club Pogo, it's hard not to think about Badges and Challenges. The first-ever Badge – the Zen Badge for Pop-Fu – might look pretty small today, but it had a huge impact. Almost two decades later and the demand hasn't let up. We've made well over ten thousand Badges since then, with more to come.

Coming up with new ways to deliver Badges has kept us pretty busy, too. From epic Site-Wide Challenges to scavenger hunts, marathons and more, the Club Pogo community has been an unstoppable Badge-collecting force. Seriously, we're in awe!

With the arrival of the new Pogo site and experience, Club Pogo will continue to grow and evolve even more. We've got more games and events in store, along with a host of new and updated features. Stick around, because together, we're going to make Club Pogo better than ever!

Throughout the past 17 years, one thing has remained true: Club Pogo members are the best part of the site. We wouldn't be here without your support and remain eternally grateful.

Thanks as always,
-Your Friends at Pogo

Why do I have trouble believing them?  You'd never know it by the customer service.

Thanks for the info!

You're welcome!

I'm pretty sure they outsource customer service - and that's where the issues are.
