Adorable! My chickens loved watermelon. They even eat the white and leave nothing but the green outer shell. I miss my chickens.

I'm surprised ducks like watermelon. My first cat loved cantaloupe, but I thought that was just him being weird.

My cats have loved cantaloupe - mostly the juice.

About 25 years ago we were adopted by a kitten that showed up in my garage one day. That cat loved the juice from the can of corn. Whenever she would hear the can opener turn on, she would come running into the kitchen and jump up on the counter. While I was trying to push her off the counter, she would be fighting her way to the corn juice. I learned to quickly drain the juice into a bowl and put it on the floor because I got tired of having to re-sanitize my countertop every time we had corn with our dinner.

These are all just so cute. Here's another one to add to the sweet animal mix..

We had a cat who decided that olives were catnip .. He'd take your fingers off if you gave him one and thought you were going to take it from him. He'd growl and chow down that olive and look at us with great big eyes for more. And he acted like he'd just had a big dose of catnip afterward with his wild antics!! We asked the vet if this 'treat' was ok. He just stared and shurgged his shoulders. I guess you just never know with animals. Or vets, lol
