Hello Pogo Community! We're thrilled that Sweet Tooth Town is the Game of the Month for May; after all, who doesn't like having sweet treats in their life? To make things even sweeter for you, we wanted to provide some tips on a few of the Badges and provide guidance on some areas of the game.

Collecting Stars

First up is the Sugar Rush Lap 2 Badge!

For this Challenge, your progress towards stars is tracked even on levels you've played before. This means you can replay a level you've already won and your star(s) will count towards progress for this challenge. It's still the perfect opportunity to go back to some prior levels to try and earn any extra stars you haven't yet picked up, but that's not required.

Maximizing Candy Matches

Next is the Sugar Rush Lap 3 Badge!

For this Challenge, you clear candies by making matches, so work hard to make as many matches as you can in each level that you play. One way to clear lots of candies is to utilize each Shopkeeper's unique ability. Each Shopkeeper's ability is powered up by matching their specific color of candies. For example, Antoinette, the Cupcake Shopkeeper, has an ability "powered" by matching purple candies. When she rolls her donut over the board, it will clear lots of candies for you!

Special Pieces

Another great way to help clear lots of candies is to make the "special" candies in this game.  What are the "specials" you ask? Here's a quick reminder!

Sugar Swirls are created when you match five candies across a row or column. Match a sugar swirl with another type of candy, and that type will be cleared from the puzzle.

Striped Candies are created when you create a match of four candies in a row or column. If a striped piece is used in a match, it can help clear obstacles such as caramel, hard candies or taffy. It can also even set off other sweet pieces, creating chain reactions. The direction of the stripes on the candy indicate the way the candy will move when it's matched.

Lips are created when you create a 2x2 match. If you use the lips in a match, it will clear a random square associated with the puzzle goal, another sweet piece, or a random square of the same color.

Jelly Bombs are created when you create a T-shaped match. When used, the jelly bomb clears out all adjacent squares. It can also set off chain reactions if it interacts with another sweet piece.

Adding New Levels With Construction Mode

Last but not least: if you're looking for brand-new levels to complete, remember to upgrade the tiers in your existing Shops and try to build new shops using the Construction Zone. When you're on the main town map, look to the top left corner and click the Construction Mode icon, as you see below.

There are currently a total of six shops available in Sweet Tooth Town, and each shop can be upgraded twice after you initially purchase and place the shop.

Remember: to exit Construction Mode, you'll need to click the edit button that's also located in the top left of the window.

Thank you for the tips. I play this game by hand so this will come in handy.

Squid

It's a little tricky, so thanks for the tips.  I still don't know what I did to make the huge doughnut roll across the game!

LittleFawn

The big doughnut is made by getting the purple candies. It comes in handy because it wipes out several rows.

what do you mean by a 2x2 match?

That's when you match 4 of the same pieces in a square form.
