Is anyone else having issues loading Facebook this morning?

It's been down here for well over an hour now. When they usually have issues, it sort of works.

This time it's completely dead ... which I haven't seen before.

Even their server status page won't load, so they're having serious issues today.

Facebook is still down.  It was fine early this morning around 6 am. New York time

It's still down here. I see they just posted this on Twitter :

*Sincere* apologies to everyone impacted by outages of Facebook powered services right now.  We are experiencing networking issues and teams are working as fast as possible to debug and restore as fast as possible

I was perfectly ok with FB being down but it seems like the globe was having a meltdown!  FB links up to many businesses and many people!

I use Facebook for business, but it was a nice break for me. Facebook also owns Instagram and the WhatsApp, and they were down as well.

There was a lot hate going around on Twitter during that outage ...

I use Facebook to get updates on what my family has been up to and to get new pictures of my Grandsons.

I don't use Facebook but some friends were absolutely lost without it. Glad I wasn't one of them  giggle2.gif

It seemed a little suspicious that Facebook had "server issues" the day after the whistleblower spoke to Congress.
