Drones are certainly valuable and have their place.  I don't think just anyone should be allowed to have them; the skies are full enough and mistakes happen all the time.

Isn't that the truth! We had good sized one embed itself in the siding on our house and the whole strip had to be replaced. The insurance company were kind of iffy about covering it because there were no identifying numbers on it. They tried to say it was ours, it certainly wasn't.  What if a child or even an adult had been standing there and been hit in the face? Then liability comes into play. Of course, the true owner was never found!

That's good to know but you don't need a license to buy one here.  That means that people are doing whatever they want.  I feel like it's just a recipe for disaster or damage, at the least, like Snowy experienced.
