Does Plhlinx go any faster with changing the diffulty of the game? What level is the best to play on to earn the game badges?

Phlinx does not go any faster when playing the harder levels. It just gives you more tokens.

Stick with the beginner level, you can complete the games faster that way.
Nothing spoils a good story like the arrival of an eyewitness.
