Yeah i've used ebay once... but from all the scams that come from there and paypal i'd rather just buy it new and from a reliable source...  :-\

I've bought 24 things off ebay so far .. never got burnt once.

Had a few late deliveries .. but thats to be expected.

Just make sure the person has "buyer protection" .. covered up to $250 american if you use PayPal as payment to the seller.

I get bugged out by it because of people i've talked with on a bunch of different irc networks... Bunch of my friends on there are from Romania and say that the ebay scam goes as follows...
They find some who is willing to set up a PO Box or use their own home address in the U.S.  All money and payment information and whatnot is sent through this American "proxy" from the ebay buyer to the Romanian seller... When the payment is recieved the Romanian tells the American that for helping to ship their items and whatnot they can take 30% of the payment that was recieved and that the rest is to be forwarded to a european address... The American will almost always follow the instructions because of the promise for more money to be sent through them...  Then the Romanian never sends the buyer any actual product...  The buyer will only know the American's address and so that person is who has to deal with the pissed off buyer...  Nobody wins but the scam artist that lives outside of the US jurisdiction...

I just added my account the other day again because they were not understanding what I wanted, so I deleted and re created an account, with a different user name obviously.... they deposited $.51 and $.59

The last time it was $.02 and $.42

I wonder how much they give out in a day... I bet hundreds, or even thousands register with them every day. I really like pay pal.... wish I was the one who invented it lmao.
