How do I put my own photo on my profile

how do i put my own photo on my profile, i have a cute photo of my own
i know how do do it when i have the BROWSE selection but i dont understand how go get a photo, i dont understand how to do the URL thing

If you have your own picture that you want to use, you need to upload it somewhere first. www.imageshack.us is one of many free picture upload sites. Once you upload it they will give you the URL of the picture and you can set it as your avatar.

I tried to use a cool hockey pic that I took and have on my webshots page, but it was WAY to big so I went with this one, any way to make the pics smaller so I can use it? (It's a hockey fight pic of Seattle's Adam Huxley and Portland's Robin Big Snake)

i used to use a place called photo island, a free site i could do that but it went down. now all my photos are on disk or lost, i have a few at work, thanks for that web site i will check into it now and start scanning and uploading photos there.

you have really been helpfull  again!!!
