   My findings from this charts bring a few comments to mind....by the way I pulled these from Billboard.

      1) ---- Music had some great talent this past year. I adored Hoobastank and Maroon5. I can even appreciate some of the rap. Rap is either really good or really bad.
 
      2) ---- I have never been a fan at all of country / twang. I never liked the fact that country makes it to the rock, pop, rap, alternative charts. I mean if Casey Kasem were still counting down the top 40 it would feel a bit odd to have him say......"and number 40 this week is Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz"...."Number 39 this week is Toby Keith". lol      It's like being at a club and the dj mixing from Linkin Park into Anne Murray. It just ain't right. (just my opinion)

      3) ---- Though the good music has been great this year, true talent is few and far between. Songs only seem to make it now days if the artist doing them is Ashanti, Usher, Britney or Christina. Alot of GREAT songs have not even made it to top 40.


     4) ---- "Hey Ya" By Outkast spent 9 wks at number 1. Why didn't it rank higher? It was an awesome tune!

     5) ---- What happened to the good music like Real McCoy, KLF, Lasgo, T.A.T.U., C & C Music Factory? Seems like techno, house, rave is just not the thing anymore. That's some great music.
