VCR tapes to puter

I'm not the smartest person when it comes to computers and have a question. I would so appreciate any help here. Could someone please tell me what I would need in order to take vcr tapes and burn them to disc? I hear there's a way, but am clueless. Tyvm in advance for any answers. O0
