  What is the Canadian Prize Skill Question?

  Answer
  If you are a Canadian prize winner, Canadian law requires that you answer a skill-testing question before we can award your prize. You'll find the Skill Question below. Once you have solved the question, click the appropriate link below to submit your answer.

yep sounds like 203 to me.. thanks to my trusty Calculator.. OH.. I'm Canadian eh... lol

[((90 - 47) x 18 ) / 4] + 9.5
90-47 = 43
43x18 = 774
774 / 4 = 193.5
193.5 + 9.5 = 203

So .. let me see if I have this correct. If you are Canadian and win a prize - you can't claim it unless you have math skills?

Is pogo going to ask you to convert the dollars to canadian yourself?

This just doesn't seem right- probably yes for pogo - right... d'oh!

LPW...

I asked someone about this and was told that because winning a prize or the jackpot is all up to luck or chance, Canadian law doesn't permit someone to claim prizes based on that, so they ask the math question instead and when you are correct, you can claim your prize.  I don't know about Canadian law....I live in Texas.

i found it in the pogo help area....just lookin around lol just thought it might amuse or piss off some? lol

We Canadians are accustomed to the skill testing questions. I don't think any Canadian will find it offensive or anything.

If you win a lottery and pay half the winnings in taxes, I am sure you would prefer to live in Canada where such winnings are tax-free.
