As soon as I post about the F. Bingo Macro it has stopped working for some reason. I hit run and it will click the numbers, then go to the gong, but wont ring it when somebody else hits it for bingo. DJ any suggestions would be grateful. I am not sure why it has quit working but I have tried reloading it several times but get the same result. This is what I like to use over night to keep the token count in check.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Perhaps something is wrong with the script. Have you tried recreating it if you still have a copy of the original script?

I haven't changed anything with my computer. still using the same script also. It positions itself below the bingo screen as it used to. Still no resolution  ???

Yes the same this happen to me.  I was working very good and not it won't hot the gong.  And so in 3 card and black out it only marks the middle card and does not hit the gong.

Yup...something is definitely screwy. It will not work for me either. >:(

Sounds like pogo changed the color scheme...  Also I think if you are running your computer in 16/24/32 bit mode it makes a HUGE difference on whether or not the macro will work...

It meaning Fortune bingo or it meanins 16/24/32 bit mode on your computer....

For FB:
Because P would only have to have an incredibly slight color variation to cause the macro to mess up... It searchs for a certian color code on the screen at a certain possition... If it can't find that EXACT color then it fails in its loop... And therefor the macro fails...

For the bits on your computer:
They have a WORLD of difference on the color codes that are needed for the macro to run...  Here's an example -- On 16 and 24 bits the color code for black lettering on P's screen is 255... That exact same black lettering on 32 bit mode changes to something like 198420 or something like that... So for the macro to work properly you have to have the correct bit mode on your computer...

Homer

So maybe I should try it in another mode? I am running 32bit.

but my color was at 32 and it worked just find and now its still at 32 I have not changed it and it does not work.

fatkid

That's why with the whole slew of ppl that are having probs running the bingo macro I tend to think that it is a problem with P changing their color scheme... If they changed the color from 255 to just 254 then the macro wouldn't work and there really isn't a visible difference to the human...

Bizach0620

Now what is odd I went to try it one more time and it works and it is still 32 maybe it depends on the room.

I've written a helper application in VB for Fortune Bingo, but it's imperfect and will not autoplay; that is, it does hit the gong on a winning card, but it doesn't notice if the game is over, and it doesn't click the "play again" button.

The app searches for the blue and red colours on the "number wall" on a repeating loop. It is not confused by the floating ball. It then clicks the appropriate numbers in a one-card game, but only if the number to be clicked has not already been clicked.

It's a brute force app; very unsubtle. It doesn't detect the Bingo window; instead, it looks for the number wall, and it is not confused by Pogo changing colours, as it looks for a particular pattern of pixels (well, I guess that's elegant, but it's not subtle).

When I'm more comfortable with the app, I may share it. But not now, and not soon, so don't ask. I'm busier than a one-armed paper hanger with the crabs.

That said, I'm surprised that WordzW hasn't released a Fortune Bingo auto; it's certainly much simpler (on the face of it) than many of WordzW's other autos. Or , say, the Bejeweled/Diamond Mine autoplayer I wrote a couple of years ago (which made me a sheepload of cash on pay-to-play sites).

Hey sounds good something is better then nothing!

Good luck with it!

Homer

Cool! 8) Hopefully you will be kind enough to share it with us. :D
