100,000 tokens program- trouble in paradise!

I was so happy i got the 100,000 tokens to work on my computer when i tried it for free it was awesome I was getting so many tokens! Now i have purchased the program and it's not working!   :'(  I have the Beta 1.1 on my computer and it works but it's slow i only get about 10,000 and hour if i'm lucky. I have purchased the program and everything and now all the 100,000 token programs won't work. I've tried everything (scratches her head). I've tried it in Internet Explorer, I've tried smoothing edges, I've tried rebooting, i've tried the screen resolution, i've tried the color bit, i've tried not touching the mouse. All it says it calibrating and then playing, but does nothing. I can get the 100,000 token beta 1.1 to work but not the others anyone have any idea what is going on! I have a Dell computer, pentium 4 processor , AOL internet service. I'm kind of getting jealous I hear Barbara and everyone else getting all these tokens, and I only have 425,000 and i only have that many because i've been playing texas hold em rofaf tables and a little of my beta 1.1 version of the 100,000 tokens!
I've tried to email Joe about this haven't got a response. Can anyone help me!?  O0

I feel your pain i have the same problem i use the version 1.3 and its works a little better but i only get about 20,000 to 30,000 an hour and then it just stops for no reason theres no pop-up theres nothing it just stop and says playing but doesn't do anything
can anewon give me tips plz Ive try-ed everything

You only have 425000?  Gosh, I wish I had half that!  I have only gotten a little over 31000 total.  That's only because I sit at the computer and when it stops, I start it again.  Usually it only goes to 306 and stops.  I'm envious of you... to get as many tokens as you have would be a dream come true! lol  ;)  How nice it will be to actually leave my computer and come back to a bunch of tokens!

Yea well alot of my tokens came from Texas Hold Em not the 100,000 tokens program. I've only got maybe 100,000 from the program so far! Keep hoping the problem will be fixed! I really enjoy this site and I really enjoy everyone who has helped me, just wish i could get it to work.

I got the 2.0 version Thanks! I still can't get any of the versions to work but 1.1 version isn't that weird???  Don't know what i'm doing wrong. I've tried everything that has been posted on here i've now sent some screen shots to Joe hopefully I can get this resolved! I'm so puzzled with this! It now says Calibrating then it says timed out it doesn't even say playing. And then my Crystal box disappears?? (scratches her head)!!

I've downloaded V2 and mine tries to calibrate too - then times out... (after 7 seconds or so)... I'm on a DSL connection and can play it fine manually with no appreciable lag (as far as I can tell). I've got all my Desktop settings back to WindowsXP defaults - no wallpaper - blue background - as per all the verious hints that have appeared in the posts here - and even rebooted the computer before trying the Auto

Anyone got any other ideas what the problem might be? It looks like I'm not the only one having trouble. I'll gladly send screenshots if anyone wants them...

can anewon tell me or give me tips on how to make to auto runs faster. I'm not very good with computors so i cant tell you how fast it is. all i know is that i have windows xp, Pentium 4 and i use internet explorer

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see anyone being flamed or disrepected here.

What I see is a large group of tolerant patient people who listen to a large number of outrageous or impossible requests.  And normally they do a very good job at answering them( i.e.. HOMER).  There are a  decent number of people who actually work as unpaid tech support for anyone who asks...  And the Admins here are above reproach.  They have earned any attitude they have on these boards...  For those who ask:

Why can't I earn more than 500K tokens an hour?

How do I hack programs?

For goodness sakes go somewhere else.. Read the forums before you ask a question.. Maybe even use that handy "Search" feature....  You can learn a lot if you do, but don't demand that it be spoon fed to you...  And don't expect that this is some sort of cheap "Yahoo" style forum where any sort of rumor or innuendo will be tolerated.  There are decent normal people on this forum and they are a little protective of this place..

well sorry to make this very interesting conversation take a turn for the worse, but i am too having troubles with my 100,000 tokens program. I have just purchased the version 2 and it worked great for the trial time, but now it seems to time out. Could just possibly be a bad time so maybe this is a waste of my time, but here are my comp stats;
Windows XP
1024 x 768 pixels
Pentium 4
512 Mb Ram
256 Nvidia Video Card (dont think this matters, but it might help)
I've tried it on IE, Netscape, Opera, and Fire Fox
Sun Java (current version whichever that may be) and VM
Cable Modem Internet Through LAN

I can't think of anything else that might be worth saying, i know there are like 7 things that we are supposed to put up when we have a tech issue, but i cannot remember them for the life of me, so i hope that is enough info to help figure out what could be wrong with the program, or even if its a bad time for pogo right now. and if it is a bad time for pogo or my computer, i will let you know and you can consider the information provided post-beta test results.

The program seems to like MS Virtual Machine... Make sure that's your Java..

oh yes, i forgot the important one. It starts up just fine. doesn't work at all in netscape or firefox... in IE, it starts up fine, it goes through sometimes 1 round and times out, sometimes 20,000 tokens then times out. my color setting is 32-bit. And by the way feel free to take your time on the issue concerning me, I have other autos... O0  ;D and have a good day... P.S. Thanks for the help incase i forget to say it later. Thanks Guys!!!

yeah, im on MSVM  right now... tried them both... :-\... ah well it was only 10 bucks and that gets me a lifetime of upgrades when badgehelp finds the extra time, decideds its a good time to update, or is just bored... Once again take your time... i have other programs !!! O0  ;D

too start off, excellent points jeffer.

just like most i was having problems with the auto not workin the way it should.  make sure that you have your smooth edges unchecked.  i did that and it helped some.  my auto also likes to time out periodically,  but i have found that if u wait a few seconds, it usually works itself out and returns to work.

aside from the periodical time out, and pogo giving the boot/freezing up on average of every 8 minutes, in 64 minutes (1hour 4 minutes for those who dont want to do the math), it earned me 100,024 tokens.  i think that that is excellent and is worth half babysitting for an hour over.  ;D
